
KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers arrested nine teens Friday who are suspected in several vehicle thefts and shootings.
Police said both arrests involved stolen vehicles and police said they found multiple weapons and ammunition.
In one incident, four teens were arrested. Five were arrested in a separate incident.
Police said a group of teens was connected with a shooting on Bush Street where another juvenile ended up with a bullet wound in the hospital Tuesday.
All the teens are between 13 and 17 years old. Of the nine arrested, five were taken to the juvenile home and Kalamazoo County Jail. The other teens were released to their parents.
