Teen shot on Kalamazoo's northside not cooperating with investigation, police say

A shooting sent a 16-year-old to the hospital Thursday night, according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.

Officers were dispatched to the shooting on Interfaith Boulevard off Woodward Avenue just before 9 p.m.

A 16-year-old had been grazed in the head by a bullet, but the injury was non-life threatening according to police.

The teen was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

There is no suspect in custody, and police say the victim is not cooperating with the investigation.
